Ensuring a Robust Workforce in AI and High Tech

Launched in 2023, Fem.AI was designed to address barriers for people pursuing careers in tech and AI, including completing higher education, accessing first jobs, and supporting rising to leadership.

Cadence's Fem.AI initiative works across four key areas to support people pursuing or advancing in AI and high-tech:

• Partnerships: We invest in organizations that increase opportunities in STEM, help people secure their first jobs, and elevate people into leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities
• Pathways to Employment: We drive mentorship, returnships, and career pathways that help people thrive in AI and tech.
• Pathways to Education: We provide scholarships for first-generation college students pursuing STEM degrees.
• Cadence Academic Network: We collaborate with universities worldwide to fuel innovation and passion for technology education.

Through our seven Fem.AI Community Partners, we are strengthening the ecosystem by supporting people in tech and AI.

Bringing Others to the Table: The Fem.AI Summit and Alliance

Driving real change requires collective action. That's why we launched the Fem.AI Summit, bringing together leaders from tech, academia, and social impact sectors to address the challenges in developing a fully skilled and trained workforce in AI. Experts shared insights on expanding the talent pipeline and ensuring diverse perspectives shape the future of AI innovation.

Building on this momentum, we established the Fem.AI Alliance, a coalition of industry leaders working together to broaden the tech and AI workforce. We are proud to be in partnership with ten other member companies and leaders in the tech industry.
