Biography :

Roddy Urquhart obtained B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow. After working on DSP & image processing IC designs at GEC Research in London he moved to Munich to work in EDA at Silicon Compiler Systems and Mentor Graphics. He then worked at Synopsys firstly as European Marketing Manager and then as Senior Director Professional Services covering Europe, Middle East and India. More recently he has been focused on processor IP having worked in marketing and sales at Cortus. He is currently responsible for business development in Europe, Middle East and Asia at Codasip.
