Olivier Thomas - CEA
Biography :
| Olivier THOMAS has 20 years of experience in R&D within the semiconductor industry. He joined CEA in 2005 after completing his PhD in microelectronics. From 2005 to 2012, he led R&D efforts in the design of digital integrated circuits and memory for embedded systems in advanced technologies. He is the author and co-author of 77 publications and holds 25 patents. From 2012 to 2016, he initiated and led several collaborative projects between public R&D institutes and industry partners in an international environment. Between 2016 and 2022, he founded and managed the start-up MOOVLAB, which specialized in "Phygital" sports solutions incorporating motion sensors and interactive gym classes. Since 2023, he has served as Deputy Department Head for Integrated Circuit and Digital System Design at CEA-List. In this role, he oversees the department's activity valorization strategy, manages the interface between CEA-Leti's technological activities and CEA-List’s design work, and leads CEA's involvement in the development of the European design platform. |
