Johnny Kim - Senior Principal Engineer - Rambus, Inc.

Biography :

Johnny Kim is the Senior Principal Engineer of the Silicon IP FAE team at Rambus where he is responsible for the memory interface, MIPI, and VESA DSC IP products. He has over 17 years' experience in interface IP products and memory technologies, having worked at Samsung memory division prior to joining Rambus. Johnny has played an active role in industry standards activities, including in JEDEC as a Joint Committee 42.3C chair and as a DDR5 task group chair. He received the JEDEC Award of Excellence in December 2018. Johnny holds MS and BS degrees, both in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Hanyang University, South Korea.
