Alex Angelou - CEO of EBBM - Digital Core Design
Biography :
Alex Angelou has 33 years of experience in custom logic designs. He received his BSEE (VLSI Design) from Northeastern University. Alexs vision is to transform how the world uses semiconductor intellectual property (IP). He is enthusiastic about one thing: the relentless pursuit of innovation. Alex works with automotive, defense, medical, and commercial companies to help them use emerging IP technologies to create a resilient product. As an ASIC Design Engineer / Networked Storage Platforms, he was mentored by CEO/Founder Richard Egan from EMC Corp and then by CEO/Founder Raphael Klein from Xicor where Alex was the East Coast FAE Manager for Mixed Signal / Nonvolatile Memory products responsible for the FAE team and new product concepts. Alex was also the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for UTMC ASICS and COTS. Currently Alex works with Digital Core Designs (DCD-SEMI) extensive IP resources that make technology breakthroughs possible in the Cybersecurity, Computational Fluid Dynamics, CPU, and Peripheral markets. Alexs first product design was a bowling arcade game for the TI 99/4A written in BASIC. Throughout his tenure Alex has been involved in several product designs ranging from levitating toy trains, UCAVs, mobile base stations, fiber optics, power supplies, to extraterrestrial satellites. Alexs favorite programming languages are Verilog, Assembly, C, and JavaScript. |
