Biography :
Abdelgader M.Abdalla received his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from MAP-Tele Doctoral Programme, Universidades de Minho, Aveiro, Porto (MAP-Tele), Portugal, October 2014. In December 2014, he joined Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) - Aveiro as a Senior Researcher. He has been acting as a work package leader for a European research project, ENIAC-THING2DO. He is currently a task leader within the European research project OCEAN 12. His main research interests include low-power nanoscale integrated circuit design, DSP-enhanced high-simulation runtime Mixed-signal integrated circuit, and nonlinear modelling for Nanotechnologies using machine learning techniques. He is the author of several journals and conference publications and Lead Editor/ contributed as author/co-author in five chapters within the book "Optical and Wireless Convergence for 5G Networks", Wiley-IEEE, .2019. He is an active IEEE member, acting as a TPC member and reviewer for many respected conferences, journals, and magazines. With Dr. José Ribeiro : he holds a B.Sc. degree (five year course) in telecommunications and electronic engineering, an M.Sc. degree in mobile telecommunications (both from Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco) and a Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bradford, where he developed an autonomous host-based intrusion detection and prevention system for android mobile devices. He joined EVOTEL SL as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow. He has been involved in European research projects since FP6, collaborating in FP6 ORACLE, FP7 HURRICANE, FP7 COGEU, H2020 SEMI40 (Security for Industry 4.0 Supply Chain), and OCEAN12.
